Interface to Bending Machine

You can save reinforcement and bending information to an ASCII file. The data can then be transferred to a task setup program for bending. The file format is compatible with the BVBS reinforcement interface guidelines.

In the Interface to Bending Machine dialog box, you can enter the

• Access path - click to specify the path of the .abs-format files. This path is retained when you switch to a different project.
• Bending shape file - specify a name for the file.
• Assembly - specify whether bending information of assemblies is saved in special bending shape files or whether all the bending data of the document is saved in a common bending shape file.
  With the first option, a subfolder - Assembly - is created in the path specified. The names of the bending shape files created consist of the name entered for the bending shape file and the name of the assembly. Assemblies with the same names are assigned consecutive numbers.
• Project - enter concrete drawing information.
• Layout: (fileset) - enter concrete drawing information.
• Layout index - enter concrete drawing information.
