Entering components in 2D with the 3D reinforcement model
Tool(s): FF Components
The following options are available:
- If you have selected a component which can be displayed as a typical detail in one view only (for example, wall corners, slits, junctions, jamb walls, continuous foundations or columns), you can define the dimensions in the placement direction in a dialog box and thus create an automatic placement.
If you cancel the dialog box and you have not yet created any views, you must select the view so as to assign the basic spatial orientation and create a view.
If views already exist, click one (the Old button is active in the input options) and continue working in it. However, you can also create a new view (the New button is active in the input options) and create a new reinforcement cage with this view.Subsequently, you can place the stirrup reinforcement manually and choose whether the longitudinal bars are to be cut to length or placed per meter. You can also place them in a view.
- If you have selected a component whose missing dimension is required for creating the bending shape, you can specify this value in a dialog box.
Based on this entry and the component parameters specified, Allplan determines the bending shape and automatically creates a view-type placement.Note: When you cancel the dialog box, Allplan only creates the bars whose bending shapes can be determined although a dimension is missing.
