Adjusting Geometry of Dynamic Group Fixture

Tool(s): Fixture + Modify Dynamic Group

You can use this tool to modify the parameters of dynamic group fixtures. This way, dynamic group fixtures can be made to suit any geometry.

To customize the geometry of a dynamic group fixture

1. Click Adjust successively in the Adjust Context toolbar.
2. Pay attention to the selected parts of the fixtures and enter the new value in the dialog line or in the case of 3D components, click a reference point.
3. Click Adjust individually to adjust the group fixture parameters one after the other.
4. In the Definition dialog box, select the Methods tab. In the Adjustment area, click the name of the geometric modification to be performed.
5. If necessary, check the parameters. But you cannot change them.
6. Confirm the dialog box.
7. You can now adjust the parameters of the fixture to suit the geometry of the component. Pay attention to the selected parts of the fixtures and enter the new value in the dialog line or in the case of 3D components, click a reference point.
8. You can use the Explode Dynamic Group tool on the Adjust Context toolbar to explode a dynamic group fixture into its constituent elements. Click this function to activate it.
9. Click OK to confirm the Adjustment Context toolbar.
