Font Definition Use 
Proportional Type on/off to toggle between proportional and non-proportional type.
Proportional
Proportional means that the spacing between letters is proportional to the character height. The spacing is set under Character Spacing (for the entire font) and in the editing frame (for single characters).
Non-proportional
Non-proportional means that the spacing between the character start points is constant.
