Using project structures

Project structures consist of the names of drawing files, layouts and filesets as well as the assignment of drawing files to filesets or the assignment of drawing files to a building structure. Project structures make it much easier for you to organize projects, as you need to do everything just once: name drawing files and layouts, assign drawing files to filesets or to a building structure, and so on. You can then use the finished structure for similar projects whenever you want.

Allplan comes with the following project structures:

• Two sample structures for organizing projects using filesets (one for architecture and one for engineering)
• Four sample structures for organizing projects using the building structure (different building types from a detached house to an office building)

You can use these sample structures as templates for your own structures.
