Save structure of existing project as sample structure

Using Structures

You can use this tool to copy the structure of a project to the office or private path. When you create a new project later, you can use the structure you created/saved and apply it to the new project.

To save the structure of an existing project as a sample structure

1. Start ProjectPilot.
   

   • Click ProjectPilot on the File menu.

     Or:

     Press CTRL+R.

   Note: You cannot make any entries in Allplan while ProjectPilot is open.

2. Click with the right mouse button on the project whose structure you want to save.
3. On the shortcut menu, click Structure....
4. In the Folder area, specify whether the structure is to be saved in the Office or Private path.

   The structures that already exist in the selected path are displayed in the Structures area.

5. Click OK.

   The structure is saved in the specified path in the Project Structures folder. The name of the project is used for the name.
