How to insert bitmaps

You can use Bitmap Area to place bitmaps in Allplan documents.

To insert bitmaps

1. Click Bitmap Area (How).
   

   Activate Bitmap in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Insert
   • Create Draft

   • Toolbar: Basic Tools Draft flyout
   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Draft

2. Click in the Properties box.
3. Click in the Bitmap Area dialog box and select a bitmap file.
4. In the Resize area, activate Size in meters. Click OK to confirm the settings.

   The bitmap is attached to the crosshairs.

5. Click in the workspace and press ESC.

   The bitmap is placed at its original size.

   Tip: To change the display parameters of the bitmap, use Properties on the shortcut menu.
