Measuring the inclination of a DTM
Measure
You can use this tool to measure the inclination defined by two points in a DTM. You get the inclination relative to the x-y plane. You can also click any points within the DTM; the program interpolates the height of these points.

- Click the first point.
- Click the second point.
The inclination is displayed. The format is based on the setting specified for the Inclination as option on the Desktop environment page in the options.
- Do the following:

- Click to place the measurement result as text (only possible if you have not selected the measurement tool while another tool is active).
- Click one of the values to use it for a tool or for the calculator.
- Click and then, in the dialog box, click a value to copy it to the Clipboard.
- Click OK to measure another element.
- Click Cancel to quit the measurement tool.
