Utensils, tools and operators in the calculator

The following tables provide an overview of utensils, tools and operators in the calculator. The Text column displays the text you have to enter in the display line when you use the keyboard to make entries. X is the value you want to determine.

Utensils of the calculator

Icon	Meaning
Display line	The display line shows all entries you make. You can even enter data directly in the display line by clicking it.
	Deletes the last character
	Deletes the entire line
	Confirms your entry and starts the calculation
	Enables the measuring tool. The result obtained is transferred to the calculator.
OK	Closes the calculator. The result is transferred into the dialog line.
Cancel	Closes the calculator without transferring the results into the dialog line

Saving tools

Icon	Meaning
	Empties the memory of the calculator
	Inserts the contents of the memory in the display line The contents of the memory are retained.
	Add the current value of the display line to the memory
	Subtracts the current value of the display line from the memory
