Modify Areas

Module(s): Thermal Insulation

You can use the Modify Areas tool to modify the attributes of enveloping surfaces you have already defined.

To modify the parameters of surfaces

1. Click Modify Areas (How).
   

   Activate Modify Areas in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Energy Thermal Insulation

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Thermal Insulation

2. Select the surface(s) to be modified (you can use the functions provided in the Filter Assistant). When you select several surfaces, they are modified one after the other.
3. You can modify the parameters of the enveloping surfaces.
   Use one of the following options provided on the Context toolbar.
   

   • Click Properties to set the parameters in a dialog box.
   • Click Match to copy the settings form an existing element.
4. Click the right mouse button to confirm your entries.
   

Note: You can use the Modify Orientation tool to modify the orientation of one or more surfaces in a single step.
