Labels, mesh reinforcement

Reinforcement options, labels

A number of parameters are provided for controlling how wire meshes are displayed when they are placed. The setting you make is valid for any new wire meshes you create. The manner in which existing meshes are displayed does not change.

Mark, border

The mesh label contains the mark and type.
If you have not selected this option, a label is not created. But you can create it later using the Label tool.

When the Mark option is active, you can specify a shape for the mark border.
The size of the circular border is defined by the setting for the mark border in the Bar reinforcement area. This way, you can also create static or dynamic borders.

Position

This parameter is only available when the Mark option is selected.

Above diagonal: the mesh label is created above the diagonal.

In diagonal: the mesh label is created within the diagonal. This display is used in the Netherlands, for example.

Type

This parameter is only available when the Mark option is selected. When the Type option is active, the mesh label contains the mark and type.
If you have not selected this option, the mesh label only consists of the mark. But you can add the type later using the Label tool.

Unit of mesh labels

You can select the unit for the output of length dimensions.
This setting is taken into account when Allplan calculates the value by which meshes overlap. It is also used for mesh dimensions in labels, schemas and cutting diagrams.

You can define the unit by selecting an entry in the list box.

Mesh label

Enter the height and width for mesh labels in these boxes.
The character height you enter is valid for the reinforcing drawing.

Automatic mesh overlap

This option is active: the value of the overlap between meshes placed in groups or by span is displayed automatically.

This option is not active: no overlap label is created. But you can use the Dimension Overlap tool to specify it later.

Arrowhead

Define which arrowhead is to be drawn for the mesh overlap. When set to No symbol, only the dimension text is specified.

Overlap label

Enter the height and width for overlap labels in these boxes.
