Labeling

Module(s): Mesh Reinforcement

You can use the Label tool to label meshes and bent-up meshes at a later stage. The label includes the mark number, mesh type and the mesh dimensions. Define the parameters in the palette.

To label meshes and bent-up meshes at a later stage

  1. Click Label (How).
  2. Specify the label parameters.
  3. Select the Auto-label option in the input options to automatically place the label after you have selected the meshes.
  4. To replace an existing label, click Delete existing labels in the input options.
  5. Select the meshes you want to label.
  6. If necessary, adjust the label parameters again and click the place where you want to position the mesh label (provided auto-label is not selected in the input options). When you select the Click direction line option in the input options, you can define the text angle in advance by clicking an existing element.
  7. If necessary, create the leader manually.

Note: You can use Match to match the parameters of a different mesh label. You can use Save as a favorite to save the settings and Load favorite to read the settings back into the palette, where you can modify them. Click Favorite QuickSelect to select from the five favorites you have used most recently.
