Modify bar display mode

Module(s): Bar Reinforcement

You can use the Modify Bar Display Mode tool to modify the way standard bending radii are displayed. You can switch between round and angular.

To control how the standard bending radii of individual bars are displayed

1. Click Modify Bar Display Mode (How).
   

   Activate Modify Bar Display Mode in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Engineering Bar Reinforcement

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Bar Reinforcement

   • Configuration: Engineering Engineering Modify flyout
2. Use the Input options to specify whether the bending radii of bars are displayed in Round or Angular mode.
3. Select individual bars or groups of bars.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a region, use the left mouse button to open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select
   • To include all the elements in the current document, click All in the Input options or press CTRL+A. Please note that this option is not available for all tools.

   When selecting elements, you can use the Filter Assistant to apply a filter based on element types and/or properties. For more information, see Filter Assistant.

Note: Bending pin diameters that are not in accordance with the standard are always displayed as smooth. You cannot change the display.
