Merging views

Module(s): Shell

You can use the Merge Views tool to merge views of two separate shell entities to form a single one. The shell entities do not need to intersect each other for this. After being merged, the views can be addressed as a single entity.

To merge views

1. Click Merge Views (How).
   

   Activate Merge Views in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Change Engineering Views, Details Shell

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Shell

2. Click the first view.
3. Click the view in which to insert it.
4. Click the second view to be inserted
   Or
   cancel if no considerable adjustments need to be made.
5. Then click the second view in which to insert it.
   

Note: Only views with the same coordinate system can be merged.
