Placing meshes as a single placement

Tool(s): Place Mesh Shape

To place existing mesh marks as a single placement

1. Click Place Mesh Shape (How).
   

   Activate Place Mesh Shape in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Mesh Reinforcement

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Mesh Reinforcement

   • Configuration: Engineering Mesh Entry and Placement flyout
2. Select Single placement in the list box at the top in the Place Mesh Shape palette.
   Click to open a dialog box, in which all placing modes are displayed graphically.
3. Select the mark to be placed by clicking a mesh shape or mesh placed. Alternatively, enter its mark number in the dialog line.
4. If Reinforce with 3D model is not active, the view of the bending shape to be placed relative to the placing line needs to be defined. Various drawing aids are provided in the input options to help you define the line for the viewing direction.
   or
   If Reinforce with 3D model is active and views do not exist, you only need to define the view of the bending shape once before the first placement. Alternatively, click a view if there is one.
   

   The following drawing aids are provided in the input options to help you define the line for the viewing direction:

   Enter normal lines: draw the line as you want, there are no constraints.

   Enter at right angles: all the lines are drawn at right angles (to the system angle set).

   Enter using cursor snap: draws lines based on a cursor snap angle.

   8 Cursor Snap Angle (3-360): defines the cursor snap angle.

5. Specify the reinforcement parameters in the Place Mesh Shape palette and the Anchor point and the Offset in X direction and/or Offset in Y direction in the input options.
6. In the input options, click Toggle mesh diagonal to change the direction of the mesh diagonal.
7. If necessary, enter an angle of rotation in the dialog line and place the mark.
