Rotate View/Section

Module(s): Shell

You can use the Rotate View/Section tool to rotate entire views or sections together with their elements.

To rotate views or sections

1. Click Rotate View/Section (How).
   

   Activate Rotate View/Section in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Change Engineering Views, Details Shell

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Shell

2. Click the view (or section) to be rotated.
3. Click the point of rotation.
4. Define the angle of rotation. Three options are provided:
   • enter the angle of rotation manually
   • click an initial point and set a direction point
   • click a reference line and a direction line
