Move View/Section

Module(s): Shell

You can use the Move View/Section tool to move entire views or sections together with their elements.

To move views or sections (this does not alter the location of the model)

1. Click Move View/Section (How).
   

   Activate Move View/Section in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Change Engineering Views, Details Shell

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Shell

2. Click the view to be moved (or section).
3. Click the initial point for the move.
4. Place the view (a preview of the view is attached to the cursor) where you require it. Various data entry tools are provided to help you position it accurately.
