Modify View and Section Display

Special tools are provided on the Modify menu for moving, copying etc. views or sections in the workspace.

To modify the extents of a shell or view displayed in the workspace, use the edit tools on the Edit menu. You can use the Stretch Entities tool to move the boundaries of a view or section, or of a clipping path.

Note:

A reinforcement member created automatically by the program as you place the reinforcement in a shell entity has the same views and sections as the shell entity itself. The two objects and, thus, their views and sections are nevertheless not connected. Rather, they merely exist on top of one another provided they were created in different drawing files.

When modifying the extents of one of these views or sections, you should bear in mind that there are now two views or sections (one on top of the other): there is one for the shell entity, and one for the reinforcement member. It may be necessary to modify each one separately.
