Importing MAC files

Using content

Program: Allplan 2015

You can use files in a standard bitmap format as textures for surface files and for bitmap areas in Allplan.

To import a MAC file and use it as a bitmap area

  1. Download the file.
  2. Decompress the file and save it in any folder on your computer.

Tip: It makes sense to use the same folder for data of the same format.

  3. Start Allplan 2015.
  4. Click Bitmap Area.
  5. Click to the right of Bitmap.
  6. Select a folder and file and click Open.
  7. It is a good idea to save the new bitmap in the design folder of the office standard (...\std\design), too. Click Yes when you see the corresponding question.
  8. Define the other parameters as you need in the Bitmap Area dialog box.
  9. Place the bitmap area in the workspace.
