Modifying, deleting drawing symbols from the catalog

To modify or delete individual drawing symbols from the catalog, do the following:

• You cannot modify the Drawing symbol regulations catalog provided by Nemetschek. This catalog is in the ETC folder (default path).
  If you want to change this catalog, you need to copy it to the office standard and assign it to the project.

• Clicking a symbol with the right mouse button in the Drawing Symbol Regulations selection box opens a shortcut menu with the following options:
  • Click Delete to remove the symbol from the drawing symbol catalog.
  • Click Properties to modify the attributes of the symbol.
• The dialog box is the same as for Create Drawing Symbol. This way, you can assign surfaces to the symbols that come with the program.
• When you create a new drawing symbol, you can define its position within the Drawing Symbol Regulations dialog box.
