Import/export using point file, line attributes
Options, terrain
You can define your own ASCII format for the lines used to connect numbered points. Enter the number of the first column, and the number of leading digits and decimal places for the parameters From point number, To point number and Line code.
For more information on parameter settings, see point coordinates. Please note that you cannot use labels of terrain points for exporting and importing here.
Notes:
- The format will only be error-free when the points selected and the point numbers used actually exist. The system uses the numbers to find the relevant coordinates and to create the connecting and/or special lines.
- During file export in the Site Plan module, code 5 is used for simple line connections. During import, however, all the codes are interpreted as lines.
- Special lines of digital terrain models generally pass between the mesh points and are coded as necessary when they are saved.
- 1 = exterior boundary
- 2 = cutaway
- 3 = breakline
- 4 = envelope
- When the file is read-in, the codes 0 and 5 (sitework) are interpreted as breaklines. Code 4 is ignored here.
