Convert color of fills to another palette

RAL color palettes are optimized for the output devices. You can use the Convert Color of Fills to Another Palette tool to convert RAL colors to another color palette. This tool can be useful if you need to output a layout on a color printer during the design phase but you want to use a large-format printer when you have finished designing.

To convert fill colors to another color palette

• It is advisable to copy the documents first and to add a note to the name of the documents, indicating the output device for which the colors are optimized.

1. Click Convert Color of Fills to Another Palette (How).
   

   Activate Convert Color of Fills to Another Palette in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Presentation Paint

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Paint

   • Configuration: Design Shadow and Paint flyout
2. Specify the source and target color system and click OK to confirm.
3. Select the fills to convert them.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a region, use the left mouse button to open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select
   • To include all the elements in the current document, click All in the Input options or press CTRL+A. Please note that this option is not available for all tools.

   When selecting elements, you can use the Filter Assistant to apply a filter based on element types and/or properties. For more information, see Filter Assistant.

   When the conversion process is complete, program provides information on the number of the selected fills that have been converted.
