Enter the number of steps up to the (bottom) landing.
If you click Opti or enter 0, the program optimizes the stair on the basis of the tread-to-riser ratio.
Moreover, any (additional) landings you have entered until this point are revoked.

You can enter the number of steps between the top and bottom landing for double quarter landing stairs.

You can enter the number of steps between the (top) landing and the top of the stair.

This sets the amount the landing overlaps the stairwell at the bottom and top of the flight respectively.

When the LockOffLd button is activated, you can enable the Release tread option in the Landing Type dialog box and configure the system to Calculate the residual length.
You cannot enter offset values for the middle section of the stair flight (the system calculates these values automatically). You can change the tread on the Stair Outline Context toolbar, and depending on the settings you make, the offset value is calculated in different ways. The other values can be entred freely.

• If ½ at bottom and ½ at top is enabled, the offset value is calculated at the end of the landing at bottom and at the start of the landing at top (one half each):

  

  Offset value is calculated:
  A at the start of the landing (one half each)
  B at the end of the landing (one half each)

• If at landing at bottom is enabled, the difference in height is calculated at the end of the landing at bottom:

  

  Difference in height is calculated and applied to the start of the landing
  B No overlap at the end of the landing

• If at landing at top is enabled, the difference in height is calculated at the start of the landing at top:

  

  No overlap at the start of the landing
  B Difference in height is calculated and applied to the end of the landing
