Define, modify opening in U-D archit. element

You can use the Define, Modify Opening in U-D Archit. Element tool to modify or define architectural openings in architectural elements.

To modify architectural openings in architectural elements

1. Click Define, Modify Opening in U-D Archit. Element (How).
   

   Activate Define, Modify Openings in U-D Elements in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Architecture Rooms, Surfaces, Stories

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Rooms, Surfaces, Stories

   • Configuration: Architecture Rooms flyout
2. On the Define, Modify Opening in U-D Archit. Element Context toolbar, enter the attributes you want to assign or modify.
   Click
   • to match the parameters of another element
   • Text to re-assign text
   • Attrib to re-assign user-defined attributes
   • Factor to re-assign the factor
3. Select the openings whose attributes you want to change.

   Tip: You can use Find Elements in the Input Options to enter criteria for finding elements.

4. Right-click in the workspace to confirm your entries.
