Dimension walls, redefine block

Tool(s): Dimension Walls

To define a new dimension block style

1. Click Dimension Walls (How).
   

   Activate Dimension Walls in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Architecture General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

   Basic: Walls, Openings, Components

   Special: Walls, Openings, Components

   • Configuration: Architecture Architectural Components flyout
2. Click Properties.
3. In the Dimension Line dialog box, select the Dimension Block tab.
4. In the Standard combinations area, click Def.. beside the name of the standard you want to change.
5. In the Styles field, you can click to select and combine the following dimension line styles:
   • Overall dimensions
   • Outside dimensions
   • Room dimensions
   • Centered on openings
   • Show height of openings

     Note: Clicking the Help button displays examples and explanations on the individual wall dimension line types.

6. Click OK to confirm the selected style combination.
