Modify Door Swing

Tool(s): Door + Smart Window and Door Symbols

To modify or delete a door swing’s drop-in point or type, you do not need to delete the door opening and draw it again. Follow the steps below.

To modify a door swing

1. Double-click the icon for the door swing.
2. Select a new symbol.
3. To place the door swing, click in the door opening. With walls consisting of multiple construction layers, click in the desired layer.

   If there was already a door swing in place, then it is automatically deleted

Note: If the opening contains a smart symbol created using Smart Window and Door Symbols and if the smart symbol was assigned a door swing style, then you can select the drop-in point in the door swing preview. The drop-in point will adapt to the geometry of the smart symbol in the respective reference scale. Alternatively, all the door swings in the other reference scales are created too and become visible when you change the scale.
