Define format properties for the door leaf in the Pen, color, surface area.
Click Apply Element to create the door leaf and to copy it to the preview.
  9. Repeat steps 6 and 7 to define the door leaf on the right.

  17. Click OK to confirm the dialog box.

This inserts the smart symbol in the opening.

  18. Click Attrib in the input options to assign attributes to the smart symbol.
  19. Click Label in the input options to place a label for the smart symbol.
The approach is the same as in the Label tool.
  20. If necessary, set a new reference point for the smart symbol to define the position of the smart symbol within the opening. Click a side of the window. Once you have found the correct position, click the right mouse button to confirm.

Note: The reference point is particularly important for smart symbols with casements and door leaves, as the position of the smart symbol in the opening also defines the opening direction.

Tip: If necessary, increase the reference scale (status bar) to, say, 1:20. This is the scale at which the position of the casement is displayed in plan view. You can also zoom in on the smart symbol in isometric view.

  21. If you want, you can save the new smart symbol in the smart symbol library. The appropriate dialog box is displayed automatically. Select the desired path and enter a name for the smart symbol in the dialog line.
  22. Position the door swing symbol.

If necessary, the position of the smart symbol in the door opening is adjusted to the swing symbol.
