Modifying the Height of the Top of a Roof Frame

Tool(s): Modify Roof Frame

To change the height of the top level of a roof frame

1. Click Modify Roof Frame (How).
   

   Activate Modify Roof Frame in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Architecture General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

   • Configuration: Architecture Roofs and Planes flyout
2. Click the outline of a plane in the frame whose overall height you want to modify.
3. Click Top level.
4. Enter the value
   or
   click in the workspace (3D view) to indicate the height.

Tip: You can use this tool, for example, to ‘cut’ the roof at the height of the collar beam.
