Modifying display parameters

You can use the Modify Display Parameters tool to manage the smart symbol foils of symbol fixtures and modify the display mode of all the other fixtures.

To modify how an existing fixture is displayed

1. Click Modify Display Parameters (How).
   

   Activate Modify Display Parameters in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Bonus Tools Fixtures

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Fixtures

2. In the Fixtures palette, click the Office, Project or Private folder and then the folder with the fixture / fixture group / dynamic group fixture you want to select.

   If you have already modified a fixture, the Fixtures palette opens with the last folder you selected.
   The navigation field at the top indicates the folder you are currently working in. Back takes you up one level in the hierarchy; use Find to find a name in the current folder.

3. If you want, you can now select a fixture in the lower part of the palette. You can preview the element.

   Note: Use View in the Preview or Selection area to define the view for the preview. The view is independent of the view set in the viewport.

4. Click OK to confirm the Fixtures palette or double-click the fixture you want to place in the lower part of the palette.
5. The remainder of the procedure varies depending on the selected fixture:
   • In the case of symbol fixtures, you can select a function for managing foils on the context toolbar.
     Click Cancel to finish.
   • In the case of line, surface fixtures or dynamic group fixtures, you can modify the display mode in the dialog box which appears.
     Click OK to apply your settings.
