You can also link instances of smart symbols to one another in a hierarchical tree-type structure with 
Link Smart Symbols and then modify them as if they were a single smart symbol. If you move or copy a superordinate smart symbol in the structure, the program does the same with the subordinate ones. However, moving or copying a subordinate smart symbol has no effect on its superordinate smart symbols. Allplan will, if required, automatically reproduce modifications to subordinate smart symbols and their instances. You can use 
Unlink Smart Symbol to clear links like these at any time.
