Using Windows drivers and Allplan vector drivers

Driver updates |
Always up-to-date as driver updates are provided by the manufacturer and/or Microsoft. In some cases, drivers may not exist for old devices. |
The current program version provides two vector drivers for HP Designjets. |
TrueType fonts |
TrueType fonts print filled and appear smooth. |
TrueType fonts print filled; the outline is polygonized. Thus, large round letters may look a little bit angular. The new formatting options provided by the text editor (Bold, Italics and Underline) are not supported. |
OLE objects |
OLE objects print correctly. |
Only the outlines of OLE objects are printed. |
Bitmap areas |
Bitmap areas print correctly (up to a certain size). |
Bitmap areas are not printed. |
Fills with gradients |
Fills with gradients print correctly. |
Fills with gradients are not printed. |
Fills with transparency |
Fills with transparency only print correctly with certain drivers and/or settings. |
Fills with transparency are printed in a non-transparent manner. |
Speed |
May be slower sometimes due to larger volume of data (use Allplan raster drivers instead) |

Not optimized as the paper is always cut in accordance with the size of the page or printable area. |
