Modifying elements using the Properties palette

You can use the Bar Mark entry in the list box of the Properties palette to modify the bar properties of one or more marks.

To modify the bar properties of one or more marks

1. Select the bar shapes and/or placements you want to modify and select Bar Mark in the Properties palette.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a region, use the left mouse button to open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select
   • To include all the elements in the current document, click All in the Input options or press CTRL+A. Please note that this option is not available for all tools.

   When selecting elements, you can use the Filter Assistant to apply a filter based on element types and/or properties. For more information, see Filter Assistant.

   When you have selected several marks, Allplan only displays the properties that are identical for all marks. However, you can change different properties to a new common property (with the exception of Mark number).

2. Define the general mark properties and the geometric parameters of the mark.
   Most parameters are also displayed in the graphics area, where you can define them by clicking.

   Your drawing and the parameter area update immediately to reflect your entries.
   

Note: You can use Match to match the parameters of a different bar shape. You can use Save as a favorite to save the settings and Load favorite to read the settings back into the palette, where you can modify them. Click Favorite QuickSelect to select from the five favorites you have used most recently. Click Options to modify the settings of the reinforcement options.
