Add/Change Pattern Line

Module(s): Advanced Draft

You can use the Add/Change Pattern Line tool to apply a pattern line to lines, polylines or composite elements. The pattern line’s pen and color are adopted from the element. You can also modify existing pattern lines.

To apply an additional pattern line to existing elements

1. Click Add/Change Pattern Line (How).
   

   Activate Add/Change Pattern Line in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Advanced Draft

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Advanced Draft

   • Configuration: Landscaping/Urban Planning Advanced Draft flyout
2. Click New in the Input options.
3. Click the composite element, individual element or polyline.
4. For composite elements, specify from which element and to which element the pattern line is to stretch. Click with the right mouse button when you want to select the entire composite element.
5. Set the parameters of the pattern line.

To modify existing pattern lines

1. Click Add/Change Pattern Line (How).
2. Click Mod in the Input options.
3. Click the pattern line.
4. Set the parameters of the pattern line.

Note: To return a pattern line to the original element, choose Off.
