Polar Axis Grid

You can use the Polar Axis Grid tool to create a polar axis grid spaced at a value you specify. The circles and spokes of the grid can be labeled separately. An axis grid can also be sub-divided into regions, each of which has different display settings - for example, color, line type and spacing between axis lines.

To create a polar axis grid

1. Click Polar Axis Grid (How).
   

   Activate Polar Axis Grid in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Advanced Draft

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Advanced Draft

2. Set the parameters of the axis grid.
3. Place the grid’s drop-in point.
   The drop-in point is the center of the grid.
4. Enter the angle of the grid in one of the following ways:
   • Enter the angle at the keyboard and press ENTER to confirm.
   • Click a point.
5. If you have enabled the Preview option, you can now specify in the Input options whether you want to enter the section of the grid as an angle or arc.
