Copying and mirroring

You can use the Copy and Mirror tool to copy and mirror 2D entities across an axis or 3D elements across a plane.

To copy and mirror entities

1. Click Copy and Mirror (How).
   

   Activate Copy and Mirror in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Edit

   • Keyboard: SHIFT+CTRL+G

   • Toolbar: Basic Tools Edit flyout
2. Select the elements you want to mirror.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a region, use the left mouse button to open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select
   • To include all the elements in the current document, click All in the Input options or press CTRL+A. Please note that this option is not available for all tools.

   When selecting elements, you can use the Filter Assistant to apply a filter based on element types and/or properties. For more information, see Filter Assistant.

3. Define the mirror axis.
   In the case of 3D elements, you need to enter another point to define a plane.
