Auto-Delete Segment

Module(s): Draft + Site Plan

You can use the Auto-Delete Segment tool to delete the segment of an element between two points of intersection.

To auto-delete segments

1. Click Auto-Delete Segment (How).
   

   Activate Auto-Delete Segment in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Draft

   • Toolbar: Basic Tools Draft flyout
   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Draft

   Site Plan

2. Select the entity segments you want to delete.
3. If you clicked a polyline: In the Select dialog box, specify whether your edits are to apply to the clicked entity segment only, or to the entire polyline.
