Enclose

Module(s): Draft

You can use the Enclose tool to draw a closed polyline around existing entities and segments in a polyline.

To draw a polyline enclosing entities

1. Click Enclose (How).
   

   Activate Enclose in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Draft

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Draft

2. Click the lines one after the other.
3. To close the polyline, do the following:
   • Press ESC or
   • Click the start line again.
4. Enter the offset in the dialog line.
5. Click in the workspace to define the direction of the polyline (for a positive offset).
