Defining Hatching

To define a hatching style

1. On the Tools menu, click Defaults.
2. In the Defaults dialog box, click Hatching.

   The warning You are modifying the hatching in the office path indicates that changing the hatching styles will affect the office standard.

3. In the General area, select a hatching number in order to modify it or select an unassigned number to define a new hatching style.

   Note: You can only modify or redefine hatching styles 1 - 255 and 511 - 999.

4. Define the parameters for the hatching style in the Line parameters area.
