Delete Duplicates

Module(s): Draft

You can use the Delete Duplicates tool to combine a number of identical, congruent elements into one element and delete the redundant elements. If, for example, you have copied an element a number of times to the same place, you can delete the redundant copies using this tool.

To delete duplicates

1. Click Delete Duplicates (How).
   

   Activate Delete Duplicates in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Draft

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Draft

2. Select the elements or the area in which you want to delete the duplicates.

   The system scans the area for duplicates; this can take some time.
   The duplicates are deleted automatically.
