Move Bar Display

Module(s): Bar Reinforcement

You can use the Move Bar Display tool to move the reinforcement without this having any effect on the actual placement. The location of the bar relative to the model also remains unaffected by this tool.

To move the display of bars

1. Click Move Bar Display (How).
   

   Activate Move Bar Display in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Engineering Bar Reinforcement

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Bar Reinforcement

   • Configuration: Engineering Engineering Modify flyout
2. Select the bars you want to move.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a region, use the left mouse button to open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select
   • To include all the elements in the current document, click All in the Input options or press CTRL+A. Please note that this option is not available for all tools.

   When selecting elements, you can use the Filter Assistant to apply a filter based on element types and/or properties. For more information, see Filter Assistant.

3. Enter the From point and To point values for the move.

Note: Any modifications you make to the placement have no effect on the bars moved.
