Creating your own seasonal surfaces

Allplan does not provide any facilities for creating your own seasonal surfaces. However, this is possible when you follow the steps described below.

• For the creation of seasonal surfaces, you require four bitmaps in TIFF format which are about the same size, and it would be best if each bitmap shows a picture of the same tree, for example, at a different season. We recommend that you use a resolution of 400 to 800 pixels.
• Due to transparency, the background of the bitmaps should be monochrome or black.

To create your own seasonal surfaces

1. Start Windows Explorer and open the std directory:
   ...\NEM\ALLPLAN\STD\DESIGN
2. Copy the file sesaon_baum.surf and rename it sesaon_myname.surf.
3. The four seasonal textures (in TIFF format) are given the same name as the surf file followed by _1 (_2, _3, _4).

   Example:

   Surface file:
   season_ash.surf

   Textures:
   Spring saison_esche_1.tif
   Summer saison_esche_2.tif
   Fall saison_esche_3.tif
   Winter saison_esche_4.tif
