Selection option for ambiguous elements on/off

If you have difficulties in selecting the appropriate element (in the case of congruent elements), you can use this option to choose the right one. When this option is not selected, the program always selects the element that was created first (that is, the older one).

To define the selection for ambiguous elements

1. After you have activated a tool for modifying elements (e.g. move), click Selection option for ambiguous elements on/off on the Filter Assistant toolbar so that the icon is pressed in.
2. Click the element you want to modify.

   The elements found are displayed in a list. The element selected in the list is blinking in the foreground.

   Pointing to a line displays a ToolTip with additional information on the element. The details displayed depend on the settings for Element info in the Options Desktop environment - Selection.

3. Double-click the element you want to use.
