Filtering based on pens

Filter assistant

Before you select elements by clicking them or opening a section window, you can set one or more filters. Only the elements that match the filter criteria entered are then selected.

To filter elements based on pens

1. After you have selected a tool for modifying elements (e.g. moving), click Filter by pen on the Filter Assistant toolbar.
2. Select the pens for which you want to apply a filter.
   You can use to match an element's properties by clicking and or specify whether the criterion has to be fulfilled (=) or not (<>).
3. Select the elements by clicking them or opening a selection window.

   Only the elements that match the specified filter criteria are selected.
