Normal dimensioning (equal sections)

When a dimension line consists of a series of equal sections, the text "eq." Is issued instead of the dimension text.

When this check box is enabled, the dimension lines are drawn using the pen you select here.

If you leave this option to Off, the dimension lines are drawn using the current settings defined on the Format toolbar.

When this check box is enabled, the dimension lines are drawn using the line type you select here.

If you leave this option to Off, the dimension lines are drawn using the current settings defined on the Format toolbar.

When this check box is enabled, the dimension lines are created using the color you select here.

If you leave this option to Off, the dimension lines are drawn using the current settings defined on the Format toolbar.

Note: Dimension text and arrowheads are always entered in mm and as absolute values, and they behave like text when you change the reference scale.

The dimension figure computed by the system only appears rounded-off on-screen. Internal computations, however, continue to use the figure's original value.

Example:

Round-off value 5 0.1137m 0.115m

Round-off value 10 0.2384m 0.24m

Enter the number of decimal places here.

Enter the number of trailing zeroes here. Enter the number of trailing zeroes used to pad out empty decimal places.

Example:

The value 1.01 with:

4 decimal places, 4 trailing zeroes will display as 1.0100

4 decimal places, 2 trailing zeroes will display as 1.01

This option applies blanking to the dimension text. It is placed on a fill in background color. This ensures that the dimension text is always visible even if you place it over a pattern or hatching style.

You can enter up to 10 characters that are to appear in front of the dimension text.

You can enter up to 10 characters that are to appear after the dimension text.

You can toggle the exponent-style numeric format on/off.

This option is only available when Dim. Text Unit is set to m, cm.

Use this to specify whether the last digit of the dimension text is to be written as a fraction. The denominator of the fraction is based on the setting made for Round-off value.

You can only use the Fraction option with the ', " and Inch dimension text units.

The dimension text height/width defines the real template size of dimension text.

For example, a number with a height value of 3.5 is always printed at a height of 3.5 mm, regardless of the reference scale you have selected.

This setting governs the actual distance between the dimension text and its dimension line.

You can enter the distance in mm or inch (values between -99 and +99 mm) and the values is based on the bottom or top of the dimension text.
