Modifying planes, showing line of intersection

Tool(s): Modify Planes

To display the line of intersection between two planes

1. Click Modify Planes (How).
   

   Activate Modify Planes in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Architecture General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

2. Select Point Height Top/Bottom in the dialog box.
3. Click one of the boundary lines of the pair of reference planes you want to modify.

   The definition points of the plane are displayed as symbols in the construction line color.

4. Click In Ln, Intersection Line.
5. Click one of the boundary lines of the pair of reference planes with which to intersect.

   The system displays the line of intersection between the planes you clicked as a dashed (hidden) line.
