Modifying planes, elevation

Tool(s): Modify Planes

In this context, the elevation is understood as being the z-coordinate above the datum level.

To change the height of the top or bottom plane

  1. Click Modify Planes (How).
  2. Select Point Height Top/Bottom in the dialog box.
  3. Click one of the boundary lines of the pair of reference planes you want to modify.

    The definition points of the plane are displayed as symbols in the construction line color.

  4. To change the height of point 1 in the upper plane, for example, click Pt 1 in the Upper row and enter a new setting.

    The selected definition point is displayed with a large symbol in the selection color.

    The changes are implemented immediately.
