Modifying planes, point heights at top/bottom

Tool(s): Modify Planes

To modify the upper and lower custom reference plane

  1. Click Modify Planes (How).
  2. Select Point Height Top/Bottom in the dialog box.
  3. Click one of the boundary lines of the pair of reference planes you want to modify.

    The definition points of the plane are displayed as symbols in the construction line color.

  4. Click Pt 1, 2 or 3 in the Upper or Lower column, depending on which plane you want to modify.

    The selected definition point is displayed with a large symbol in the selection color.

  5. Click Pt? to display the elevation of a user-specified point on the upper or lower plane.
  6. Click A to change the angle of inclination between the XY plane and the sloping line.
  7. Click Elv Ln to display an elevation line at the height you specify.
  8. Click In Ln to show the line of intersection between two planes.

Note: Point Height Top/Bottom can only be applied to reference planes created using Custom Planes or 3D to Planes.
