Modify Planes, Moving Upper/Lower Plane

Tool(s): Modify Planes

To move custom planes parallel to the Z-axis

1. Click Modify Planes (How).
   

   Activate Modify Planes in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Architecture General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

2. Depending on which plane you want to move, click Move Upper Plane or Move Lower Plane in the dialog box.
3. Enter a value by which the plane is to be moved.
4. Click the plane that is to be moved.

Note: The edges of architectural elements associated with the planes are modified to the same extent as the planes.

Note: The Move Upper Plane and Move Lower Plane options can only be applied to planes created using Custom Planes.
