Graphics cell, parameters

Tool(s): Define Cell, Graphics

What to display

Representation of areas in file (for quantity takeoff)

You can have the division of areas displayed graphically in the graphic cell. (This method can only be employed in Quantity Takeoff sub-lists.)

Representation of legend

The properties of surface elements or lines are analyzed graphically and displayed in a rectangular area (e.g. boundaries of lots).

Generate image from CAD data

Illustrations are created based on components (architectural elements), e.g. rooms or walls in summary schedules with graphics.

Settings for CAD image

Symbols for setting the projection

This is where you define the projection in which the component is displayed in the graphic cell (plan view, elevation, etc.).

Hidden line image

You can specify whether a hidden line image of the component is to be calculated for the graphic cell.

Turn element surfaces into bitmaps

Displays surfaces assigned for display in animation mode as bitmaps in hidden line images.

Fills based on element colors

Displays the element colors of components as bitmaps in hidden line images.

Consider transparency

Creates transparent surfaces so that hidden edges become visible.

Display hidden edges

Displays hidden lines in hidden line images.

Auto-dimension (MinMax box)

Dimensions the extents of the component in the graphic cell.

show associated components (e.g. window with wall)

Displays the component together with its superordinate component.

General settings

Resizing factor (optional)

You can specify a factor by which the component is to be resized in the graphic cell.
0.000 resizes the component to the maximum dimensions of the cell.

Add. value

You can enter additional information for graphics cells in engineering legends.
