Point where a line and a solid intersect

Tool(s): Intersect Line/Plane

To determine the point where a line and a solid intersect

1. Click Intersect Line/Plane (How).
   

   Activate Intersect Line/Plane in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Bonus Tools 3D Modeling

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   3D Modeling

2. Click Object in the Input Options.
3. Click a point or edge of the object.
4. Click the line itself or its end points.

   The point of intersection is marked with a cross.
